Show Commentary

- The show is coming along great. Details, details, details. But it is SO nice to be able to worry about the details. This cast has been great in taking direction and bring this show together in terms of timing and expression. As each character develops, we have seen the show grow into it's completed state.

I'm anxious for a full audience to be able to see the results of the hours of work this cast has put into this production. We're waiting for an audience. Are you waiting for a great time?

Wow!   It's really been since January since I've added anything?   This show has been going great.   We're all really caught up in bringing this one to stage.   It has everything you can hope for.   It will make you laugh so hard you'll find it difficult to stay in your seat.

It also has those moments that really make you think, and of course, those moments that tug at your heart strings.   From silly to sublime, certainly an apt description for this production.

The cast is simply amazing.  The show requires a definite stretch of acting ability, and we are seeing it in spades!  Have I mentioned lately how I love working in this area with the incredible talent available to us at the drop of a hat?

The author filled this show with subtleties that we continue to catch on a daily basis.  One of the joys of being a director is making sure that our actors bring those very things across to an audience on the very first viewing.   Unlike me, you don't get a chance to see the show 20 times!    You, of course, are more than welcome to come back more than once.   This is one of those shows where I can absolutely guarentee it will be even more enjoyable the second time around, simply because you'll know what is coming and can enjoy it with everyone else, as well as the fact that you will catch things that you missed the first time around, since your eyes can't be everywhere at once.

Join us for a fantastic look into a Thanksgiving dinner that you'll start out giving thanks you weren't there, and end up wishing you could have been part of.
