Show Commentary

- The final performance of this run approaches. The feelings are bitter-sweet. This has been a great show, with great responsive audiences. The cast and crew worked very hard on making this show happen. As is sometimes the case with shows like this one, while we've greatly enjoyed the experience, and the opportunity to prove we can do a show that requires this level of dedication, we would love to have shared it with a larger audience.

Thanks to all of you who helped make this show possible. "A Plaid's gotta do what a Plaid's gotta do." rings so true for this production. If you are reading this before the show this afternoon, get off the computer and come on over to the Opera House! One more chance to say goodbye to the Plaids, and all this wonderful comedy and song before it moves into the realm of other great "former" OHP shows.

- Wow, you can tell how much we have been working on this show by how little time we've had to update the commentary. The show is going well. Two wonderful audiences thus far, and we're anxious for our first matinee audience this afternoon. We started working on the music for this show in June, and are we ever glad we did! Lots of beautiful harmonies, but the difficulty level of this non-stop entertainment is quite intimidating at the start.

We're glad we've worked this hard however, because the level of work that's gone into the singing, has also gone into the set, and choreography. It's a definite flash back to a time gone by. A perfect way to start the Christmas Season.

Hope to see you there at the Opera House in Elkader. Five shows left!

- The Plaids are back!   Just in time to bring you the Christmas Spirit.  That familiar Plaid harmonies are all there in Christmas style.   If you missed Forever Plaid this is your opportunity to catch the Plaid "Fab four" in all their glory.  Coming in November - December 2009!
